Foundation Medicine a affiliate of Roche Diagnostics is the leader in cancer genomics since 2012 when it set the stage to change the cancer industry with the vision to ‘Transform Cancer Care’. An important milestone was reached in 2017 with the launch of its first FDA-approved product called FoundationOne®CDx. This first of its kind product paved the way for matching cancer patients to novel therapies and provide the care team with the deep insights needed to make decisions own the entire cancer journey for each patient. Now with over 1 million tests performed they continue to change push the field and provide patients and their providers with the best information about each unique cancer.

FoundationOne®CDx is the first FDA-approved tissue-based broad companion diagnostic (CDx) that is clinically and analytically validated for all solid tumors. The test is designed to provide physicians with clinically actionable information–both to consider appropriate therapies for patients and understand results with evidence of resistance–based on the individual genomic profile of each patient’s cancer. This integrated product launch campaign is the first FDA-approved product for Foundation Medicine that needed to reach out to different audiences through the patient journey and clearly explain the full benefits of this first companion diagnostic product on the market.
